Batteries & Battery Systems

Myers Power Products PEGASUS Batteries are the industrial market's leading Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) battery. These front access batteries are offered with outputs of 24 V-392 V in standard sizes ranging from 200 Ah-2000 Ah for a 20-year battery and 105 Ah-190 Ah for a 7-10 year battery and include our 150 Ah battery, which fits into a 19" battery tray and relay rack.  Top terminal versions of PEGASUS Batteries are available as special order items. 

Myers also offers complete battery systems that provide scalable, reliable backup power for a variety of applications and environments.  Our comprehensive turnkey solutions are engineered, integrated, installed, and commissioned to your specific requirements.  These systems are based upon our best-in-class PEGASUS Battery or flooded, valve regulated, or nickel cadmium batteries from other leading manufacturers, integrated with all cabling and connections, chargers, racks/cabinets, and auxiliary components needed to create a complete system.  Each system is custom-designed to provide the capacity you require within the available footprint and designated operating environment, making procurement simple, even when requirements are complex.

 

Spill Containment Systems & Clean-Up Kits

Myers Power Products Spill Containment & Clean Up Kits allow you to limit the impact of battery system leakages, protecting your personnel, facilities, and the environment. Our easy to install containment solutions include 4" high welded corner liquid tight acid-resistant barriers, VTM-0 rated flame retardant acid-resistant liners, VTM-0- rated flame retardant neutralizing/absorbent pillows with a 32+ LOI rating. Clean up kits include all supplies needed to absorb and neutralize the spill and protect the individual performing clean up.

Battery Racking Systems

Myers Power Products offers a wide range of Battery Racking Systems, allowing us furnish a solution for virtually any installation environment. These include tiered racks and cabinets in a variety of sizes and configurations to house the required number of batteries within with the footprint you have available.  Each option includes variations to meet such additional requirements as seismic code compliance, temperature control, outdoor use rating, front or top terminal access, and custom paint color.

Custom Frequency Converters

Myers Power Products Custom Frequency Converters are designed and manufactured to your unique specifications, offering single or three phase output in a wide range of frequencies. These include standard continuous fixed output frequencies from 50- 400 Hz and standard variable output frequencies ranging from 45 to 65 Hz or 350 to 450 Hz, as well as custom frequencies.  All Frequency Converters are digitally synthesized and crystal controlled for ±0.1% accuracy and offer output capacities ranging from 500VA to 50kVA, in a variety of enclosure types, sizes, and finishes.  We provide true turnkey solutions, with engineering, fabrication, integration, and testing performed in the same facility and under the same rigorous quality program that has made Myers the brand trusted by industrial, commercial, government, and institutional customers for more than four decades.

 
 

 

Custom Power Inverters

Myers Power Products Power Inverters are engineered and constructed in accordance with your application requirements and installation environment to deliver single or three phase AC power. Standard input voltages range from 24VDC-250VDC, with custom solutions offering maximum input voltages of 800 VDC.  Output capacities range from 500VA to 50kVA, with variable output voltages available in custom products.  All Power Inverters are digitally synthesized and crystal controlled for ±0.1% accuracy and offered in a variety of enclosure types, sizes, and finishes.  We provide true turnkey solutions, with engineering, fabrication, integration, and testing performed in the same facility and under the same rigorous quality program that has made Myers the brand trusted by industrial, commercial, government, and institutional customers for more than four decades.


 
 

Third Rail Inverters

Myers Power Products Third Rail Inverters draw power from the third rail power supply and convert it to constant, regulated, utility-grade AC voltage. Built-in power quality protection restarts the unit when transient voltage, spikes, or sags are encountered.  Available voltages range from 120 VAC — 480 VAC, with 500 W — 10 kW capacities. The Third Rail Inverter features a ruggedized design with rack mount, wall mount, and cabinet options.
