ONTARIO, California, USA – Myers Power Products, Inc. (“Myers”) announced that Roy Shigefuji has joined the Company as Global Director of Procurement & Supply Chain. Mr. Shigefuji will be responsible for the various aspects of supply chain management across the Myers five North American manufacturing facilities, which support the Company’s global sales. He will work out of the Myers Corporate Headquarters in Ontario, California.

Mr. Shigefuji comes to Myers with more than 20 years of manufacturer supply chain management experience, most recently for Progressive Waste Solutions. As Director, Procurement and Supply Chain he was responsible for a supply chain that encompassed nearly a half a billion dollars in annual goods and services purchases for heavy manufacturing.

Prior to his most recent position, Mr. Shigefuji was employed in a similar capacity at Republic Services, Intel Corporations, and other major manufacturers. He is a graduate of Arizona State University, with Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and History.
