ONTARIO, California, USA – Myers Power Products, Inc. (“Myers”) today announced that Jay Grimes has been appointed Southern Region Sales Manager. Mr. Grimes is charged with business development and sales management for power distribution solutions for utility, industrial, commercial, and institutional end users, contractors, distributors, and consultants in the states of Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri. This role is an expansion of his current business development responsibilities for M&I Electric, LLC, a Myers subsidiary and encompasses products and services offered by both M&I and Myers.

He is a welcome addition to the Myers team and will be integral to our continued growth in this geographic area.”

Mr. Grimes brings to this position nearly 20 years of experience in the electrical industry, including 10 at M&I Electric. His experience encompasses development, design, and management of electrical power distribution and control systems through medium voltage applications, specifically with power generation, upstream, midstream, and downstream system integrations as well as renewables.

He earned an Associate of Science degree in Electrical Design and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Houston with Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Development.
