This position is based at our Ontario, California manufacturing plant.


  • Set up and operate brake machine
  • Read and understand production assembly drawings
  • Use measuring tools, calipers, and tape measure
  • Indentify material of different types and gauges
  • Report unresolved shortages and job status to supervisor
  • Report needed drawing corrections to supervisor
  • Complete production work order reports
  • Follow standard shop practices and verbal instructions
  • Detect and report any mechanical defects of raw material
  • Check work for accuracy and completeness
  • Refer all unusual conditions to supervisor
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area
  • Carry out all duties assigned by immediate supervisor and/or management

The Press Brake is responsible for understanding and working towards company goals and objectives as well as actively contributing to the cohesiveness of the team.


  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • 1-2 years of experience operating a Press Brake
  • Ability to read and understand documents written in standard English
  • Ability to read and interpret production drawings and work instructions
  • Ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division calculations using whole numbers and fractions
  • Ability to read a measuring tape to a 1/16” measurement
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form
  • Ability to solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Ability to use/operate press brake, hand and portable power tools, forklift, and pallet jack as required
  • Ability to attain Myers Power Products, Inc. forklift and overhead crane certificate within two weeks of employment, as required
